Executive Function Coaching that helps neurodivergent students move forward.
I support high school and college students who are bright, capable, and still struggling with planning, organization, follow-through, or independence. These challenges aren’t just about motivation. They’re about executive functioning, skills that can be taught. Whether they have ADHD, Autism, or other learning differences, when given the tools, teens can thrive, become, and belong.

I’m Amy Hinsley, and my work is grounded in a simple belief:
neurodivergent brilliance deserves insight-driven, radically human support.
My journey as the mother of a neurodivergent son is at the heart of why I do this work. Walking alongside him through school, self-discovery, and transition has deepened my compassion, strengthened my understanding, and shaped the way I support families.
For three decades, I’ve worked with neurodivergent students in schools, homes, and the community. Along the way, I’ve seen how powerful it is when young people feel truly seen, valued, and supported, and how much becomes possible when they do.
I also bring lived experience. After years of wondering why the gap between knowing and doing felt so wide, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I know what it’s like to feel capable and motivated, yet overwhelmed by follow-through and self-doubt. With the right tools and support, that story changed, and fuels that fuels my work today.

What Clients Say
"My daughter is now a young adult, far more functional than was predicted, & a published author besides. Having the [parent consultation] tools and knowing how to use them is a game changer. I honestly cannot imagine having raised my daughter without Amy’s support."
Willow van der Bosch
"Amy places a high priority on developing relationships with students so that she can best meet their individual academic and behavioral needs. The students know that she is their advocate. They respect her, trust her, and learn from her."
JaneAnne Dempsy
"Navigating these processes can feel overwhelming -- your patience, clarity, and intentional approach made a real difference for me. It meant a great deal to feel supported by someone who took the time to understand both the research and how best to communicate it in a way I could actually absorb and use."
